Who says cats and dogs don’t get on? We have six cats: Starlight, Nala, Capuccino, Pootie, Bubble and Squeak, and have rehomed around 16 kittens in the time we’ve lived here. We’ve also got three dogs; one very large Italian sheepdog, Freya and two spaniels, Nellie and Scooby Doo. In fact, if truth be known, it’s the cats who are in charge, but shhh… don’t let on.
Above is Bubble and Scooby Doo. Bubble elbowed her way onto the chair as there wasn’t any more room at the time! Her brother, Squeak, is a little more timid. And below is Freya with a very young kittie. She treated them like her own and used to carry them to her favourite garden spots in her mouth. Such a gentle giant.
Do you have pets? For us they are very much part of the family.Let me know in the comments or email. And piccies welcome!

What I’m Listening to
For the past few months we’ve switched to Classic FM in the mornings. I was tired of all the babble on regular radio and it increased my anxiety levels. This programme is much more sedate, even meditative.
Well, that’s it from me. Let me know what you are up to and how the New Year is going for you.
Ciao
JoAnna
P.s. the reader survey is still open, so please take a couple of minutes to answer the very short questionnaire… thank you to all of those who have completed it so far.
